The Boulders at RiverWoods – Reception
I spent Tuesday of this week in Exeter, New Hampshire for the artist reception and grand opening of “The Boulders” at RiverWoods, a community designed using “green” principles. Green principles minimize the impact on our environment. A large selection of my images are part of The Boulders permanent print collection. The included images are a small selection hanging on the "Boulder’s" walls.
The day was spent conversing with residents and guests about the New Hampshire landscape, hiking in the White Mountains, the new community, traveling and photography. Never a dull moment!
It is very special to see the joy my work brings to the residents of the community. It also reminds me how important it is to create awareness for the environment. Without imagery many would not be able to understand why we fight to protect the lands. Imagery is a powerful tool!
If you ever visit The Boulders Community you will find the bulk of my imagery hanging in the dining room, plus at various locations throughout the building.
I also met a number of very talented artists who’s work also hangs on the walls. All have incredible work!
It was a great day!
Fan Page on Facebook
After realizing I pretty much screwed up facebook from the get go I decided to start a new fan page. Since my fan page is still at the beginning stages I wanted to correct the problems I made. Unfortunately there is no way to move "fans" over to this new page. Please become a fan again if you were on the old page. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can check it out below.

Facebook & Updates
Over the last two weeks I made a major change on the blog. As much as I like the old style (nucleus) I had to update to wordpress. WordPress will make it much easier for me in the future.
Also, I finally had the chance to get involved with facebook. Made a page and all that good stuff.

One new feature I added to this blog(and like) is the “Print of the Month” which can be found on the right-hand side. Every month there will be a new image.

End of the seasons updates
Lincoln Woods Trail – Lincoln, New Hampshire USA
As we get closer to the end of the 2009 season some updates need to be made. These changes are much needed.
Most important:
During the month of December ScenicNH.com’s image archive will be having major updates done. These updates are needed and will add to a better end user experience. There are to many updates to list so I wont even try. Unfortunately this maintenance work requires site downtime, so if ScenicNH.com is not functioning properly during your visit ( during December ) please know it is only because of the updates being done.
Secondly:
As we move into the new year ScenicNH.com may be getting a major makeover. This is something I have been considering for a while and hopefully this will be completed by mid January. It is not set in stone yet so don’t be surprised if you suddenly see a completely new layout (or you dont).

ScenicNH.com’s weblog is now up and running!
My plans for this weblog is to keep everyone updated on what I am doing, talk about photography related topics, share print ready images, plus give updates on new images added to ScenicNH.com’s image archive.
At this point I have no idea how often it will be updated?? I have looked at other blogs to get a idea at how often they are being updated and was a little surprised to see how often these blogs are updated? Some blogs are updated every other day with 10-15 pages of reading and others once a week or once a month. Personal blogs seem to be updated everyday while business blogs once a week.
Once a month? Once week? Who knows at this point!
Updating everyday seems to be a little much so I hope to be somewhere in between.
