The above shot is one of five images that is currently on display at the Lincoln, New Hampshire library. The prints represent the White Mountains and will be on display for the next few months.
For this display, I decided that it would be a good time to try a fairly new product that I have been interested in called the DuraPlaq. The DuraPlaq is an unique system in where the print and frame are all one piece. The back of the plaque is beveled out allowing for a number of different hanging systems. You can have a keyhole or wire hanger system added if that is your preference.
I decided on the MegaPlaq with a black edge, plus had the prints printed on Fuji Crystal Archive museum quality photo paper. These papers display superb colors and have a minimum of 70 years before they show signs of fading.
What makes the product even more appealing is the material used to manufacture it is recycled, Eco-friendly wood coated with an acid-free protection and moisture resistant barrier. Eco-friendly!
This is another great product for the Eco-conscious photographer to consider when producing prints. Overall I really like the outcome and plan on using this system for future displays. Stop by the Lincoln library and check them out if you are in the area.
Happy image making…
