Waterfalls, White Mountains


Waterfalls in the New Hampshire White Mountains. This work focuses on known and forgotten waterfalls in the White Mountains, and the surrounding region. During the early years of the White Mountains, waterfalls played an important role in tourism (hiking, traveling, etc.). Many of the waterfalls we know today were discovered during the 1800s. And while many waterfalls in the region have been forgotten about over the years, the known ones, such as Bridal Veil Falls, still play an important role in tourism.
